Kelsey Verdell
Hi there! I’m from the small town of Greenfield, Tennessee. Following high school, I attended the University of Tennessee at Martin, where I earned a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Child and Family Studies. Then I pursued a Master of Divinity in biblical counseling from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary.
I am married to my high school sweetheart, Tyler, and we have four boys. We’ve been homeschooling since Kindergarten. Our oldest two attend TCT, with the next two soon to follow.
I love a good story, so I am thrilled to teach high school literature. I also look forward to introducing students to the world of psychology and to the adventure of teaching U.S. History. I’m so excited to step into a role that lets me work with the sweet, welcoming people of TCT.
I enjoy reading, crafting, live theater, game nights, and a well-timed quote from The Office.
