US History
Meets the requirements for the mandatory US History & Geography High School credit.
In this 30-week class for grades 9-12, students will have the opportunity to watch videos and read excerpts from literature about inspiring historical figures.
As we discuss difficult parts of history and relate historical events to modern dilemmas, the classroom will remain a safe space for learning and exploration for all students.

Exploring America Quiz and Exam Book*
*Notgrass will be releasing a new (5th) edition in Spring 2026. This is the edition we will use in class.
Students must have access to a computer, a printer, and the internet. Essays and papers must be typed. They should be submitted electronically and in print form (hard copy).
