Jill Knight
I have been teaching at The Cordova Tutorial for 6 years. My children attended classes till they graduated. I enjoy knitting, reading, singing, travelling when I can, Bible Study, and spending time with my friends and family. I am originally from the St. Louis area, but married a native Memphian and have spent the past 34 years living in various parts of the city.
I have a master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Memphis and a bachelor’s degree in Education from Harding University. I homeschooled my two children for 15 years (both are graduates of TCT). Before beginning my homeschooling journey, I spent 14 years teaching in both private and public school settings. I love to learn and teach. I can’t pick a favorite subject because I enjoy them all, from working on complex math problems to traveling to a new place while writing a story, reading great literature, or learning about history. I also enjoy working with kids of all ages, from babies to teens. When I teach children, I am engaging in one of my favorite activities.
