Annette Wright

Annette Wright is excited to begin her sixth year at The Cordova Tutorial this year.  She is looking forward to using her teaching experience and love of children in the classroom. She hopes to inspire her students to love learning and think creatively.

Annette earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Memphis, where she graduated with Honors.  She also earned a Master’s Degree in Education from Union University.  Annette taught elementary grades in public and private schools for nine years before staying home with her two sons.  She has homeschooled them for ten years, teaching both at home and in a local co-op.  Annette also has experience tutoring, giving leadership to the church children’s ministry, and working with children and families in adoption and foster care.

She has been married to her husband, Arron, for 19 years.  She is a proud mom to (step)daughter Courtney and sons, Jacob and Joseph.  She has also earned the title of “Nini” to grandson, Charlie.  She loves to read, garden, and cook, as well as hiking, traveling, exploring, and game nights with her family.
