Mystery of History Vol. II Early Church - Middle Ages

This course picks up where the Mystery of History Volume I story leaves off – at the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Chronologically ordered stories integrate Bible history with world history, covering the history of the Early Church, the fall of the Western Roman Empire, the Dark Ages, and the struggles of the Medieval church worldwide.

Coursework utilizes reading assignments from the textbook, mapping exercises, videos, and classroom activities for hands-on fun. Students will work together to create a classroom illustrated timeline.  Additional literature books will be suggested.

Homework will include weekly reading assignments from the textbook, which is available on audiobook if parents would like to purchase separately.  Parents will have the option to include additional exercises and supplemental reading.

Students will benefit from incorporating scripture from the Bible while studying the Early Church and Middle Ages in this 30-week course, meeting for 90 minutes a week.
